St Mary Magdalene, with its medieval wall painting, is Coventry’s oldest church. Next to it is Risen Christ, a modern, multi-purpose complex. It plays host to a range of community activities, including our highly respected Day Care Centre for the elderly. Both buildings are used regularly for worship. St Mary Magdalene with Risen Christ is one of four churches in the Caludon Team. Together with Holy Cross Wyken, St Catherine Stoke Aldermoor and St Michael Stoke, we serve over 33,000 people in this part of east Coventry.
